Found a Skape code on a sign?
It opens an experience in the Skape app. You don't need an account. The app uses your location on your phone to play sound in the right place, and doesn't send your location to us. The app isn't published yet. Skape is being used by the organizations we work with, and we help them install the app. Something wrong with the experience? Report it.
Listening
- The app. The Skape app is free, and you don't need an account. It isn't published yet. We'll link to it here when it is, and until then we help the teams we work with get test versions.
- Opening a project. In the app, scan the project's QR code or enter its 7-digit code. The last digit is a check digit, so the app catches most typos. You can also open a project's link on your phone.
- Location. The app needs your location while you use it, to play sound in the right place. It never asks for "Always". If you said no, you can turn it on in your phone's settings.
Making projects
- Getting access. Accounts are by request for now. Tell us a little about your project, and we'll set you up.
- Where. You build projects in the studio, in a browser on your computer (sign in on skap.es), and test them on site with the app.
- Sharing a project. When you publish, your project gets a 7-digit code and a link. To make a QR code, put the link into any QR code generator. The link opens in the Skape app, so on a sign, also print the 7-digit code and skap.es/support.
- Signing in to the app. Use your email address and password. If you created your account with Google, GitHub or Figma, you can't sign in to the app yet.
- Forgot your password? There's no reset button yet. Write to us from your account's email address and we'll help you.
- Exporting a project. In the dashboard, open the project's menu and choose Export. You get a file that you can keep, and import into Skape again.
- Connecting an AI assistant. You can work on your projects from Claude or ChatGPT. Connect your AI shows you how.
- Disconnecting an AI assistant. In the dashboard, open your team's MCP / AI page, choose Manage on the connection, then Disconnect AI. It loses access to every team on that connection at once. Removing Skape in Claude or ChatGPT stops that app from using it.
- Publishing and paying. See Pricing, or Skape for organizations.
Deleting your account
Write to hello@skap.es from the email address of your account and tell us you want it deleted. We confirm, then delete your account and personal data within 30 days.
If you own a team that has other members, we ask them who should take it over before we delete anything. If you're the only member, we delete the team and its projects with your account, so export anything you want to keep first. We keep invoices until the end of the seventh calendar year after the fiscal year they belong to, because the law requires it.
Report a project
If you think a project published with Skape is illegal, breaks our terms or sends people somewhere unsafe, tell us. You don't need an account. Email hello@skap.es. A short message is fine. To make it a formal notice under the EU Digital Services Act, include:
- the project's code or link
- what's wrong, and where in the project it is
- why you think it's illegal or breaks our terms
- your name and email address (you can leave these out if you're reporting sexual abuse of children)
- a sentence saying that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete
We confirm that we've received it, a person looks at it, and we tell you what we decided and how you can challenge the decision, for example in a Swedish court. If someone is in danger right now, call 112 first.
Security
If you find a security problem in Skape, email hello@skap.es with what you found and how to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable time to fix it before you make it public. We don't have a bug bounty, but we'll thank you if you'd like.
